Update:
It appears our Boardwalk Project will be on the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's late winter bidding cycle. We are projecting this project to begin after T-ball winds up at Roberts Park, sometime after the beginning of July.
The Broadwalk Project
This summer, the Village Board voted to initiate research and development of a nature trail and boardwalk outlined in our 2030 Smart Growth Plan.
To qualify for the estimated $250,000 grant, the cost of research and plans to develop this project were undertaken by the village using money from TID. This boardwalk project was submitted for federal stimulus grants awarded at the state level.
